A YouTube video not showing in search is almost never a shadowban. It is usually one of five settings that remove the video from a surface outright, and each one takes under a minute to check. Work through them in this order — they are listed by how often they turn out to be the cause.

Unlisted and private videos do not appear in search, ever, for anyone. That sounds obvious until you remember that scheduled uploads sit as private until their publish time, and a video published from a phone can default differently from one published on desktop.

A freshly uploaded video is not immediately in the search index. High-resolution processing continues after publication, and indexing takes its own time. For a new channel it can take noticeably longer.

Before concluding anything, search for the exact title in quotes while signed out. If the video appears there but not for a broad phrase, nothing is wrong — you are looking at a ranking outcome, not a suppression.

Category, language, licence and made-for-kids status all sit in the same panel and all affect where a video can appear. A video with the wrong language set can be shown to the wrong audience, or fail to appear for the audience it was made for.
