YouTube Handles: Rules, Availability and Changing Yours
A YouTube handle is the @name people can mention and search. Here are the rules, how to check availability, and what changing one actually breaks.

@name that identifies your channel — unique across YouTube, usable in mentions, and the basis of your youtube.com/@name URL. It is not the same thing as your channel name, which can be anything and can duplicate someone else's.The rules a YouTube handle has to follow
