Teleprompter Script Format: Line Breaks You Can Read
A prompter app wraps text on width, which means a line can end on "the". Where the breaks go is the whole format, and it is the one thing the app cannot decide for you.

Why the app's own wrapping is the problem
The teleprompter script format, line by line
| Decision | What to use | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Line width | ~40 characters on a phone, up to ~60 on a tablet | Narrow enough that your eyes do not visibly travel |
| Break point | End of sentence, then end of clause | A line ending on a function word forces a wrong pause |
| Breath marks | / for a clause, // for a sentence | A glance tells you how long the pause is |
| Blank lines | Between sentences on an unrehearsed script | Costs vertical space, buys a clear place to stop |
| Directions | Deleted, or greyed out | A direction read aloud is the mistake the mic catches |
| Capitals | Optional, and usually unnecessary | Legible further away, measurably slower to read |
All caps is a convention, not a rule
