Facebook Ad Character Limits: Text, Headline, Description
Facebook ad text is truncated long before the field limit. Here are the recommended lengths for primary text, headline and description, and where each cuts.

The three fields
| Field | Recommended | What happens past it |
|---|---|---|
| Primary text | ~125 characters | Truncated behind "See more" |
| Headline | ~40 characters | Truncated, often mid-word |
| Description | ~30 characters | Frequently not shown at all on mobile |
