Fake Pinterest Pin Generator
Mock up a Pin card — title, description, source domain and saves.
- 100% success
Overview
About this tool
Draws a Pin the way the closeup draws it, at 2:3, 1:1 or the long 1:2.1 shape, cutting the title where Pinterest cuts it and showing the source as the bare domain Pinterest actually displays.
Instructions
How to use it
Enter the title, description and account, choose a Pin shape, and download the card. The Pin image is a marked placeholder at the right aspect ratio.
Two things this shows that a mock-up in Figma will not
- Where the title is cut. Pinterest gives a Pin title around 40 characters in the closeup. Longer titles are not shortened by Pinterest — they are truncated, mid-word, wherever they happen to run out.
- What the source looks like. Pinterest shows the bare domain and nothing else: no path, no page title, no tracking parameters. A carefully built campaign URL reads as plain “example.com”.
Questions
Frequently asked
Can I put my real Pin image in?
Not in the tool. Compose your image behind the card in whatever you are building — the placeholder sits at Pinterest’s exact aspect ratio, so it lines up.
How long should a Pin title be?
Under 40 characters if you want all of it read in the closeup. Pinterest allows 100, and the extra 60 are for search rather than for people.
Does the description matter?
For search, very much; for the closeup, less than people think — most of it is behind a tap. Front-load the useful words. The Pin SEO Checker scores a real one properly.
