About this tool
Turns a list of points into one copy block per slide and computes how much text each frame holds from the canvas size and the font size you set — the working is shown rather than a per-slide character count asserted, because no network limits carousel text. The limit is legibility, and legibility is a function of the size. No point is ever split in half.

The budget is computed, not quoted
A slide is a known number of pixels wide, a typeface at a given size has a roughly known average advance, and a line has a known height. So the characters that fit is arithmetic, and the output shows it. No platform limits the text on a carousel image; what limits it is whether anybody can read it in a feed.
Two fixes for an overflowing slide
Cut the words, or set a smaller size — and only one of those requires rewriting anything. The tool computes the largest size at which every slide fits and puts both options in front of you.

How much text should go on a carousel slide?
As much as is legible at the size you set, which is arithmetic rather than a rule. At 56px on a 1080×1350 frame that is a few hundred characters; at 96px it is a fraction of that.
How many slides can an Instagram carousel have?
Twenty. LinkedIn document posts are effectively unlimited, and TikTok photo posts take thirty-five. The tool says when your split exceeds the format.
What font size should carousel text be?
On a 1080px canvas, 48px is comfortable body text and 72px is large. The number that matters is whether it survives the feed thumbnail, not the number itself.
How is this different from the carousel splitter?
That one cuts an image across several panels. This one plans the copy before anything is designed, which is the half people discover too late.
